With over twenty-five years behind the needle, Martha was taught traditional piecing by her grandmother on their North Dakota homestead. Her passion lies in precision geometric star patterns and vibrant batiks. What she loves most is how every finished quilt brings warmth and comfort to families in our local charity auctions.
Kristy P
Clara began quilting eight years ago after falling in love with bold color play and modern negative space. She specializes in free-motion textures and modern minimalist layouts. For Clara, nothing compares to the quiet joy of assembling spontaneous fabric scraps into treasured works of art that help raise funds for good causes.

Eleanor picked up her first thimble nearly forty years ago and has been quilting ever since. She cherishes story quilts that weave personal histories into fabric through appliqué and scrap piecing. She loves mentoring new quilters at McKenzie Star and contributing cherished pieces to our seasonal charity drives.
Sandy
One of our seasoned quilters! Sandy has been quilting for almost 40 years! She wanted something to do when her boys started school and picked up quilting! She enjoys going shop hopping every year and exploring the surrounding stores.

A brand new quilter! This is Lexxi's first year quilting! After surviving her battle with cancer, Lexxi is excited to dive head first into new adventures. Her interest in quilting comes from joining Nellie and Sandy on a shop hop adventure and finding material that she really enjoyed. Join her on her adventure and watch her progress!
Nellie
A new quilter in our club! With only 2 years of experience, Nellie puts her all into her quilts. She frequently asks questions and is constantly seeking to improve. Her love of quilting is inspired by her grandmother, who has been making quilts as long as she can remember. She is an animal lover, book worm and mom.
